All Coaches are required to obtain their Heads-Up tackling certification through this website!  The website is filled with a number of coaching tools to enhance your coaching experience.  Our program is always seeking volunteers who are dedicated to inspiring young minds while following our coach, teach, train and motivate philosophy.

***Note:  All coaches must go through an interview process and available positions are determined by the total number of registered players/teams.

The Severn Athletic Club Youth Football Organization (SACYFO) is a non-profit organization that offers an instructional football program for youth 4 - 14.  SAC is dedicated to teaching the youth of our community the fundamentals and proper techniques of tackle football. Our emphasis is on developing physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership skills in a positive and safe environment.  We strive to provide opportunities for all participants to develop individual skills and abilities while being a contributing member of a team.  It is important to SAC that we provide a way for our athletes to build lasting friendships, great memories, and have fun while also keeping the importance of education at the forefront.

The coaches are dedicated to promoting the core values of the Organization.  Wins and losses are not the primary priority for our coaches; developing life skills and individual character is what guides our coaching decisions and actions. Coaches are expected to lead by example in both words and actions on and off the football field.   Coaches accept responsibility of the development of our athletes as both players and persons while under their direction.  Our goal each year is to be a "Family" oriented organization that has strong ties to the community who not only develops Severn football players that parents and coaches will be proud of, but also guide our athletes to becoming positive contributors to any team they choose to be a part of in the future.

Mandatory Parent and Player Requirements

All parent and players must review all videos below, download,  complete and sign both the Severn Football Organizational Rules Contract and 2016 Registration Form.  Both documents along with a copy (no originals) of the players birth certificate must be turned in at one of the scheduled onsite registrations.  If a player turned in a birth certificate last year we do not require a new one.  Participants may register online, but a hard copy of all signed documents must still be supplied.
