Severn Athletic Club 2017 Fall Soccer
***FALL REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN***
If your child registered for Clinic in the Spring- please register them for In House for Fall. Description listed below.
The County Program consists of teams in age groups from 7 to 18. County teams are broken out by boy and girl. The registration fee for the for the County Program for the Fall 2017 season all is $125.00. The registration fee does not include a uniform. We are currently re-evaluating our uniforms and vendor for possible changes. More information to follow. County Games are played at various locations in the area with about 1/2 the games on a local home field. Practices are held on a number of fields in the local area.
Until your child reaches the age of 7, he or she will play in our In-House Program. In the fall our teams generally practice twice a week, either M-W or T-TH (it depends on the coach and their preference) and all In-House games are played on Saturday mornings at Severn/Danza Park. The main soccer season is in the fall, however, in the spring we have an In-House Clinic on Friday nights from 6PM-7PM. The clinic will run for 6 weeks from beginning mid- March through May. For the different age groups, we will do several skill building drills, play a lot of fun games and play small field 7x7 games as well. This way the children will learn or continue to work on the fundamentals of the sport and get some game experience. This will better prepare them for the official fall soccer season.
If you have questions about our In-House Program please check our FAQs. If you have additional questions, contact Annette Amos -email@example.com.
If you have any questions or concerns, as always, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will get right back to you.
Thank you for your support of our Soccer program…We hope to see you on the field soon!
Shaem Spencer Soccer Commissioner Severn Athletic Club
Our coaches are dedicated to promoting the core values of the Severn Athletic Club. Wins and losses are not the primary priority for our coaches; developing life skills and individual character is what guides our coaching decisions and actions. Coaches are expected to lead by example with both words and actions on and off the soccer field. Coaches accept the responsibility to develop our athletes as both players and persons while under their direction. Our goal each year is to be a "Family" oriented organization that has strong ties to the community who not only develops Severn Soccer players that parents and coaches will be proud of but also guide our athletes to becoming positive contributors to any team they choose to be a part of in the future.
If you are interested in coaching, we have several opportunities available for Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches especially in the U4, U5 and U6 and U7 Groups. Please be sure to register yourselves as well as your children. For those of you who are worried that you don’t have what it takes…we will be holding a Coaches Clinic in the middle of August and not only provide you training materials and equipment but we will review the game, it’s fundamentals and some teaching techniques!
