2021/2022 Winter Registration

We will offer Track and Field Techniques & Conditioning

Tuesday & Thursday 7-8:00

Friday 6:15-7:15

These conditioning opportunities will be at Meade Middle School in the auxiliary gym.

We are limited to 50 athletes to the gym. Training is no charge until December 2.

After December 2, Registration will be required (posting soon).

Travel track will be $250 (includes all meet fees, AAU card, and AAU Indoor Championship)

*Uniform Separately and travel expenses are responsibility of each family

Conditioning only will be $100

Volunteer Coach Background Check

This link will take you to the Anne Arundel County website to complete your background check. This must be completed for coaches, team moms, and any other participant who will be in direct contact with the athletes. The cost to complete the background check is $7.

***Meets will be in VA Beach and require overnights. Please be prepared for the costs of travel, hotel, and food***

One Team Mentality

 

Making Track Season successful will take not only athletes and coaches focus, but parents as well. We ask the following of all participants:

  • Allow coaches to coach, address any concerns prior to or after practices.
  • Coaches will communicate firm and honest training with athlete
  • Athletes should be prepared for practice in proper entire for their safety
    • Running shoes- no basketball shoes or casual sneakers
    • No sports drinks or juice during practice ONLY water
    • Gloves, hats, sweatshirts. We will be outside unless it is under 40 degrees or inclement weather.
    • Athletes will be dismissed from practice if not properly dressed.
    • Do not drop your athlete off. Practice is subject to end earlier than allotted time.
  • Nutrition is important! Please visit our webpage to see proper nutrition throughout the season
  • Track Meets can last all day, depending on placement of events. We arrive as a team during registration. If you are not there when we register, you will be responsible for your own fees for that meet. Once your athlete’s events are over, you may leave or stay to support our team.
    • Coaches reserve the right to interrupt any bad eating habits during these events
    • Recommended items during meets
      • Peanut butter & jelly sandwiches
      • Granola bars
      • Fruits, raw veggies
      • Please let your coaches know of any food allergies
  • Red or Black Singlet is the only required uniform piece-please plan to purchase this prior to our first meet on December 16th. It takes 2 weeks to receive your uniform. Plan accordingly.
